My goal is to educate people about the critical importance of regular colonoscopy exams through my own experiences. The initial productions will be produced this week during my surgery and treatment at Mt Sinai in New York City. Overtime, I will update this cosmos as I engage in a fight against a rare tumor disease that I know today to be low grade appendiceal mucinous neoplasm (LAMN). MoreLess

I am a young older woman. I am beautiful, inside and out. I have a wonderful husband of 32 years and very accepting, loving friends. I do Kundalini Yoga at least once a week with a great group of like minded, strong people. We have a fabulous instructor who has a wealth of information not only about Kundalini Yoga, but about many subjects ranging from our Earth and how to help it survive to inter-personal relationships. In general I have a great life. I do have emotional and physical problems; depression and generalized anxiety disorder along with hypothyroidism, high blood pressure (controlled by medication), being overweight, and the pain of arthritis, fibromyalgia and scar tissue from way too many surgeries. I am a 73-year-old female who, up until 10 years ago, was pretty healthy. Then came the diagnosis of NTM (MAC). Did the three drug regimen daily for two years and was negative for approximately two years. NTM returned along with COPD, emphysema, Sjogren's and gastrointestinal problems. My pulmonologists want to treat but are leery because of tolerance to the necessary drugs because of my poor physical condition. Every day is a challenge to one degree or another, but I persue. My goal would be to have my health back so I could exercise and again enjoy activities with my friends. I take pride in the fact that I'm always there for friends and try to be an advocate for them should they need me. I love to learn and grow and cram my head full of all the knowledge I can gather! Trying to remain positive is of the utmost importance! MoreLess
