My goal with "Rare Tumor" community (diagnosis: low grade appendiceal mucinous neoplasm) is to educate people through my experiences, challenges, and recovery from a tumor diagnosis in my cecum and appendix during a colonoscopy procedure. Interesting moments here in the hospital at Mt. Sinai that I'll look to capture include review of family history, treatment, pain management, recovery path, receiving the diagnosis, taking the prognosis home, and my feelings and concerns all along the way.
